It is true that advertisements are becoming common. Although there are some drawbacks of the prevalence of advertising , I would agree that there are far more benefits.

The main drawback of the new advertising campaign is that the TV commercials encourage consumers to buy things that they do not really need. Apple’s marketing and advertising campaigns, for instance, have a great influence on the spending habits of young people. Therefore, Apple products have become an expensive trend among youth, they long to own the latest version of the Iphone even though their old phones still work perfectly well. In addition, the company has to spend a huge amount of money on advertising, because of; seeing the compelling advertisement, customers are more inclined to purchase the product. This can lead to an increase in the price of many products and services.

Despite the negatives mentioned above, I believe that widespread advertising is a positive development for various reasons. Nowadays, people in the modern world come into contact with advertisements almost everywhere, from online commercials to banner displays, which would provide customers with information about products or services. The consistent advertising of the same or similar products allows consumers to clearly compare several aspects of the products, as a result, people can make better shopping choices. For example, by watching TV commercials about different brands of shampoo products, I can choose the one that works best for me. Moreover, advertising can raise people’s awareness and knowledge about product development. Old people’s lives nowadays can discover more about technological devices such as smartphones by advertising. My grandparents, for instance, knows a lot about technological devices, because he watches many adverts about digital gadgets on TV.＋

＋In conclusion, while I recognise the possible disadvantages of advertisements of all types, I consider it to be a positive development overall.
