The bar chart illustrates the percentage of five type of activities that people engaged in online education in 2024, while the line graph compares the number of male and female that took part in online education activities between 2015 and 2024. Overall, most people has taken online workshop, while a small number has done in the undefined onlines activities in 2024. Additionally, the number of women and man who participated in online educational activities rose steadily over the period, while women consistently recorded higher figures than men throughout the period. Looking first at the bar chart, the proportion of participation in online workshops accounted for the largest share at 35%, seven times as much as that of the others category and it was followed by short online course at 30%. In addition, the percentage of people participating in distance diploma was in the third place of the chart, which accounted for 20% and double that for distance bachelor degree. Concerning the remaining graph, both male and female participation experienced an upward pattern. Although the figure for them were identical in the first year of the period, the figure for women was higher than that for men throughout the remainder of the time frame. From 2015 to 2016, there was a slight increase in both male and female participation, from nearly 80 thousand participants to around 100 thousand participants and roughly 130 thousand participants, respectively. From 2016 onwards, the number of women participated in online educational activities surge at a faster rate, from nearly 130 thousand participants to approximately 950 thousand participants for the following eight years, which is the highest point of the line chart. Meanwhile, male participation experienced a gradual growth from around 100 thousands to roughly 700 thousand participants by the end.
