Using animals has become a topic of intense debate in recent years. Many people believe that animal utilization is justifiable due to human benefits, while others state that it is ethically unacceptable. ＋This essay will discuss both views and present my opinion.

On the one hand, animal utilization plays a pivotal role in human development as people need animals for many purposes. From ancient times, humans hunted animals to survive, and until now, animals have been an important source of nutrients for humans. In addition, animals are also necessary in science and medical inventions. For example, many vaccines that have revolutionized the medical industry need to be experimented on animals before being safe enough for people. Given these points, utilizing animals is imperative for the advancement of society.

On the other hand, using animals should not be equated with exploiting them for personal profit. With the continuous growth of the global population, the demand for animal products has significantly risen. This may lead to illegal hunting or overexploiting animals. As a consequence, a wide range of them is on the edge of extinction, breaking the food chains on which bigger animals rely to survive. This badly disrupts the ecological balance.

In my opinion, using animals should not be totally banned, but must be regulated within strict ethical boundaries. To achieve this, it is crucial for the government and organisations to refine and enforce animal protection laws. Furthermore, they should launch animal conservation campaigns to raise public awareness about endangered animals.

In conclusion, animal use is necessary for the development of human society. However, there should be moral limitations to guarantee the preservation of rare species and biodiversity.
