The bar chart illustrates the levels of water across six different cities in Australia between October 2009 and October 2010. Overall, there was an increase in the percentage of water in reservoirs in all examined cities during October in 2009 and 2010, except for Darwin. It is also clear that the share of water in Brisbane remained no change throughout the surveyed period. Regarding the cities with higher reservoirs of water, Canberra saved almost 100% in October 2010, compared to the figure for Sydney and Perth, with the respective figures being just over 80%, and about 71%. However, Sydney recorded the highest proportion of water reserved among other metropolises in October 2009 (roughly 79%), surpassing the figures for Perth and Canberra, which were exactly 40% and around 78%, respectively. Noticeably, the amount of water stored in Brisbane in October 2009 shared the same figure with that of October 2010 (just under 60%). As for remaning cities, 40% of water was reserved by Melbourne in October 2010, which was significantly higher than that of Darwin (over 20%). Meanwhile, a constrasting pattern can be observed in the figure for October 2009, with the water levels in Melbourne being lower than that of Darwin, at about 21% and 44% respectively.
