The chart and table demonstrate the results of a questionnaire of library users, including users categories and their satisfaction levels at a university. Overall, full-time undergraduates account for the largest proportion of library users, and helpfulness of staff ranks the highest percentage of satisfaction. According to the pie chart, full-time undergraduates take up a proportion of more than two-fifths, whereas a quarter of the total number of users is accounted for full-time postgraduate users. It is obvious that the percentage of part-time postgraduates is double that of the distance learners, which are 16% and 8% respectively. Academic staff share a similar number with distance learners at 7%. Regarding satisfaction levels, it can be witnessed that the availability of readings rank relatively low in most categories, yet the availability of journals doubles the availability of books in the ‘not satisfied’ class, which are 20% and 10% respectively. The helpfulness of staff received the highest praise with 95% ‘very satisfied’, in contrast to the reliability of wifi which settles at only 48%. Remarkably, no respondent graded ‘not satisfied’ for library opening hours and helpfulness of staff.
