The bar graph compares the proportion of fresh coffee and instant coffee purchased as well as the frequency of going to a café for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks across five metropolises in Austrlia. Overall, the percentage of people going to cofe was dominant in most cities except for Adelaide, whereas instant coffee was favoured over fresh coffee by residents in all surveyed cities. Regarding cities that recorded a big difference in the amount of fresh coffee and instant coffee being bought. In Brisbane, an approximate 52% of instant coffee was bought, higher than that of fresh coffee by about 20%. Similarly, Adelaide mirrored this pattern with precisely 50% belonging to instant coffee, while fresh coffee only accounted for below 35%. Moreover, Hobart documented the highest figure for instant coffee with around 55%, whlist fresh coffee comprised roughly 38%. Concerning the remaining cities, Sydney recorded almost identical figures for instant coffee and fresh coffee at approximately 45% and 44%, respectively.In addition, Melbourne showcased about 48% of instant coffee and 42% of fresh coffee. As for café visits, Melbourne and Hobart saw the primary proportion with roughly 63% each, closely followed by Sydney with around 61%. Besides, around 55% of visits went to Brisbane, whereas it was below 50% for Adelaide.
