The provided line graph illustrates the number of different crimes (car theft, house burglary and street robbery) occurring in two countries: England and Wales between 1970 and 2005. In general, there was a noticeable increase in the three sorts of crimes in England and Wales. Notably, the figure for car theft was the highest among the three categories throughout the period. Examining the details more closely, in 1970, 0,40 million car thefts were recorded, compared to 0,20 million house burglaries and about 0,01 street robberies. Over the following 20 years, the number of car thefts occurring in England and Wales increased significantly to 1.00 million in 1990. Meanwhile, the figure for house burglaries grew substantially to 0.60 million in 1980 then remained unchanged until 1985 and climbed slightly to approximately 0.70 million in 1990. However, England and Wales saw a remained trend in the kind of street robberies, staying at 0,01 million until 1990. Turning to the remaining years, the number of car thefts recorded in England and Wales increased substantially to 1.60 million in 1995 before declining and reaching 1.00 million in 2005. At the same time, the figure for house burglaries remained stable at 0.70 million until 1995 but later decreased considerably to nearly 0.50 million in 2005. On the other hand, the sort of street burglaries recorded in England and Wales climbed minimally to 0.20 million in 2000 then remained unchanged until the period's end.
