＋There are some individuals argue that online learning materials are more beneficial for the students, while others claim that paper-based ones offer superior results. In this essay, I would discuss both views before arguing the latter perspective aligns more with my personal opinion.

On the one hand, website-based learning platforms are highly recommended as they are fast and budget-friendly. It is undeniable that learning resources on the Internet are swift, flexible and various since there are a wide range of video explanations and lectures available online, allowing everyone to access any time, any where without having to pay too much compared to printed textbooks. If the lectures are too complicated for the students to understand, those learners can search for further explanations and examples, utilize AI platforms to do a quiz or replay the difficult part until they fully acquire for free. For these reasons, virtual learning platforms matter as the students are able to learn at their own pace, especially for those who have difficulty to absorb knowledge and afford many books.

On the other hand, paper-based materials can ensure concentration better. To be more specific, when the students study online, they may struggle with totally focus on the lessons due to a number of notifications, messages from their friends, pop ups; therefore, studying efficiency is negatively affected. Unlike online learning materials, physical ones offer a simpler and less distracting learning space, allowing the learners to stay focus better and avoid getting distracted by such interruptions. This type of learning is effective, particularly for several lectures requiring sustained concentration. For example, if the lessons are printed and then read on paper rather than on laptop, they can deter the students from getting distracted by social media, thereby ensure deep understanding and minimise time spent on learning.

In conclusion, virtual learning platforms are effective thanks to accessibility to a broad range of resources, and online functions. Nevertheless, I believe that physical materials are more optimal since they provide deeper concentration, which is significantly crucial for academic learning.
