It is said that building vertical houses is the most effective way to provide enough places for people to live. I firmly agree due to the lack of land for constructing and demands for living in the center are increasing.

The main reason why introducing tall buildings can offer sufficient accommodation is that many big cities tend to spend more land on economic purposes. The governments want to make use of land to construct entertainment facilities, shopping malls and restaurant. As a result, building tall blocks is an ideal strategy to provide adequate homes for residents. It not only helps people have places to live but also offer opportunity for national development. For example, governments in Poland have built many high apartments for citizens, and the left spaces are used for industrial areas, partly fostering economic growth. This is a wise campaign as it benefits both residents and national promotion. On the other hand, people’s demands are the factor that makes this trend outweighs others. Citizens nowadays prefer to live near the central areas as these places provide them with convenience such as entertainment, supermarkets, and higher job opportunity. Therefore, more and more people move from rural areas to the cities to access to these benefits. Consequently, lands in the countryside and sub-urban areas are often inhabitant even not being utilized by the authorities, and numerous tall buildings are necessary to adapt the changes. For instance, many workers in rural areas of England moved to London to find a better living standard, resulting in mass construction of skyscrapers and tall apartments. I believe that a vertical city is the best place for providing homes.

In conclusion, I strongly agree with the idea that introducing tall buildings is the most successful way to get adequate homes because it promotes long-term national economy and satisfies people’s demands of stable lives.
