The table chart compares the amount of money four car companies spent on different types of advertising in the UK in 2002. The units are measured in millions of dollars. Overall, Renault spent the largest amount of money on almost types of advertising. Additionally, TV was by far the most preferred advertising medium while the opposite was true for Cinema ads. Regarding the budget allocated by the automotive firms, TV led the way with the highest investment of $70 million from Cetirizine, followed closely by Vauxhall with the marginally lower expenditure at $65 million. The figure for Renault was $59 million and the least amount of money was $45 million spent by Rover. In terms of Press, Renault was the enterprise that had the most expenditure with $45 million, slightly higher than that of Rover, at $38 million. Conversely, Cetirizine and Vauxhall was much less expended, at $12 million and $8 million on advertising, respectively. By contrast, Cinema registered the lowest expenditure with half of the companies not using this format to advertise their cars, the others spent just $5 million (Vauxhall) and $6 million (Renault). Outdoor advertising was insignificant higher with less than $10 million spent by each company. It is notable that expenditure of all car manufacturers on advertising through Radio was identical, at $15 million each.
