Introduction
Body
First, the natural habitat including wildlife ecosystem can be adversely impacted by constant manufacturing new fashion products. Since most clothes, bags or even shoes are made from animals' fur and skin. As a result, consistently producing new fashion collections entails hunting a large number of wildlife animals to collect their leathers, skin, which may become primary materials to create a piece of cloth, handbags or sneakers. Consequently, the loss of many specific animals can lead to ecosystem unbalance . For example, Hermes is famous for its luxurious and expensive handbags so-called birkin or kelly which are made directly from crocodiles and camel's skin. If the brand develop more strongly by manufacturing new products of purses continuously, some kinds of crocodiles as well as camel may be extinct. Because natural ecosystem inherently has mutual effects, the typical animals vanishing can have a negative impact on others, such as a lack of source of food or useful predator for weaker animals. In some extreme cases, more than other animals may decrease due to the disappearance of a specific kind of wildlife animals, contributing to the loss of biological variety.
Second, new fashion products means that an increasing demand for consumerism, leading to pollutions from wastes or plastic bags used when packing the products. Nowadays, people gradually become wasteful consumerism, in other words, with the availability of different fashion products including various clothes pattern, trendy bags or heels, consumers can have more options to buy rather than using a fixed fashion product for a long time. If unnecessary, they have tendency to throw old-fashioned clothes away without any concerns about environmental consequence. This can fuel an amount of waste, resulting in environmental pollution. Especially, plastic bags or clothes made from cotton would take millions of years to decompose, which exacerbates soil and plastic pollution. For example, a news relating to environmental issues in Vietnam, namely Living green, better lives have reported that there are more and more people discarding old clothes to catch up with trendy fashion, leaving many waste landfills full of cotton clothes. This may cause land pollution to local neighborhood and society as a whole.
Conclusion
In conclusion, fashion industry rapidly develop can cause harmful damage to the environment. Because clothes virtually made from natural resources, overconsuming new products can lead to the loss of natural habitats for some wildlife animals. In addition, new fashion products often stimulate wasteful consumerism, which increases an amount of waste to the environment and becomes harmful to people's surroundings. As a result, fashion industry should consider carefully between economic benefits and environmental problems by proposing appropriate strategies of launching new collections, avoiding making them excessive in order to protect planet.
