Nowadays, banning to sell food and drink that has been scientifically demonstrated to be harmful for the individuals’health is an essential activity. While acknowledging certain agrument about this opinion, I firmly believe that shops do not need to completely banned to sell these unhealthy products.

Granted, one might argue that detrimental food and drink tend to have the convenience that normal food does not have. Unlinke healthy food and drink, these food and beverage that harm people’s health usually just have some steps production so people who have deal with many acadamic or professional responsibilities may choose this instead of others. However it should be noted that consuming these type of food and drink in long-term time may have various negative effects on physical health. Through a considerable consumption of sugar and fat components in these food and drink, individuals gradually suffer from some dangerous diseases such as obsesity or high pressure blood. This, consequently, may lead to the shorten of life-span or more seriously is fatal.From a broader perspective, instead of banning to buy, there may have some better solutions to address this issue. One of these is that governments must increase the taxes for products that have detrimental impacts on health. When the tax is applied on these food and drink, these products have to increase its price, which force citizens to think carefully before buying. As a result, the consumption of these unhealthy products may significantly declined, creating a more positive lifestyle.＋ Another one is that governments should promote the advertisement of new healthy products. With the supports from the development of social media, various types of advertisement about the benefits of healthy food and drink may prevail and attract the interest from all generations, this may lead to the increase in comsumption of healthy products.

In conclusion, although banning can offer some benefits, I firmly believe that there may have some better strategies including the increase of taxes and the promotion of healthy products advertisement.
