The worldwide fashion trend influenced how people get dressed in the contemporary era. There are many reasons that result in this extension such as the widespread of social media and the rise in the number of clothing brands. From my perspective, this development is negative as it impacts on the society and the traditioanl value are detrimental.

The modernization of the society nowadays are the foundation for fashion trends to grow. The wide accessibility of internet and social media platforms offers people many opportunities to discover more about lives including fashion. Substantially, the rise in number of fashion brands is also a prime reason of the continuing trends. Indeed, more brands lead to more advertisements are realeased to the public which attract people's interests to purchase those products. For example, such internet applications' algorithm like Tiktok, Shoppee, Facebook or Instagrams indicate to people an abundant amount of news and informations about trendy fashional products which persuade individuals to buy those advertised items.

From my point of view, the global widespread of dressing trend is negative to the society as contribute in the occurrence of consumerism and the lost in value of traditional fashion. Consumerism in fact is an individuals' tendency to buy the lastest products which are then scarcely used by them in the future. This may results in the high-rising amount of money is increasingly wasted. For example, many people in the GenZ generation collect a redundant amount of fashional items such as shirts, pants or jackets just to satisfy there curiousity and those products are ended up thrown away for charity. Furthermore, the prevalent of trends globally can causes the faded-away situations of the value of traditional fashion. Consequently, the descendants of the nowadays generations no longer embrace the cultural fashional values. For instance, many people worldwide have adopted such wearing styles such as streetwears or baggy clothes instead of conventional clothes.＋

In conclusion, the widespread of fashion trends' influences is caused by the accessibility of social media platforms and internet applications as well as the prevalent of commercial fashion brands. However, this is a negative improvement as it results in the occurrence of consumerism and contribute to the lost in traditional fashion value.
