Introduction

In this contemporary world, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is considered to be the most important part of our lives. At the same time, there is a debate about whether living in a rural area or urban area will be beneficial for our health. In this essay, I will evaluate both perspectives before arguing that countryside is the best place for people to have a good health.

Body

On the one hand, urban area provides us with a better approach to medical services. Nowadays, the majority of hospitals and medical centers are located in big cities instead in the countryside. Therefore, if residents want to have medical treatment and consultant, they may need to move to cities. For people who live in rural areas, they have to go for a ton of miles with a long time, resulting in the lack of immediate hospitalization. As a result, citizens living far from big cities may not have chance to maintain a healthy lifestyle in comparison to those who live in these areas. For instance, a person suffering from chest infections want to hospitalize but her home is 50 km from the nearest city, so along the way to the hospital, her disease may negatively affect her health. Consequently, location plays a crucial role in preparing and having a comprehensive physical and mental health. On the other hand, although having an accommodation in city provides us with urgent and sustainable medical services, there are also numerous benefits if we tend to live in the countryside. Maintaining a good health is not only required whenever we contract a disease, but also when we work and study. It is evident that in some big cities nowadays, the air and water pollution is considerably more extreme, leading to many illnesses such as chest infections, cancer, asthma. Instead, in the rural areas, residents have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fresh air, clean water supplies, nutritious food sources, which act as the significant demands for our good health. For example, in Mongolia, which is surrounded by grassland and trees, the rate of people encountering bad disease recorded approximately 5% due to the closeness to natural world. Therefore, living in rural areas offers a multitude of advantages like the lower rate of causing pollution and better food supplies.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I believe that although living in cities are so beneficial for those who want to approach to greater services of medicine, having accommodations in the countryside is much more significant for becoming healthy individuals because of the best environment where there is no pollution and higher living standards which provide necessary food sources.
