In this day and age, there is a notion that research which is related to science needs to be implemented by the governments instead of the private businesses. From my perspectives, I would vehemently challenge this commonly held belief in the light of the financial resources coming from companies.

It is understandable why people submit that governments have to carry out scientific research rather than private companies. It is the government that care more about the advantage for country than profit. The government have people who want to contribute more their ability and strength to the development of the country without thinking of fees. Should they implement a scientific research, they will try their best to explore and discover all information that can be beneficial to the nation. Therefore, not only will they improve the quality of the research, but they will also keep carrying out research without money, which can boost the economy of the country. Nevertheless, this line of thinking is spurious. Implementing scientific research always needs the amount of cost to continue. The subject which is related to science or technology requires a number of expensive resources to go until the end. For that reason, the government have to pay more attention to the profit from the research to make sure that it will not be cancelled in the middle.

Many people, myself included, hold a firm belief that private companies also have the possibility to carry out scientific research. There are private businesses that have enorme supply of finance for researching. They have budgets to invest in the research by themselves without the support of the government or the taxes from people. By this way, they can carry out a number of plans of researching about what they want. Not only does this action enable them to have another source of salary, but it also enhance their reputation in front of residents and even scientists should their plans succeed. To cite an example, Elon Musk, a billionaire in USA, created a company called SpaceX to launch the rocket and explore the universe by himself. Therefore, people often consider him as a talented person, which makes his reputation better and improve his work＋

＋In conclusion, despite the avantage that the government bring to people, the private companies also have potential to implement scientific research.
