The given maps compare changes that occurred in an area from 1995 to the present. Overall, the region has undergone considerable transformation, with a clear shift from agriculture and fishing to tourism and residential development. Additionally, the most significant changes were the expansion of the residential area, the loss of green space and the development of recreational places. In the north, several notable changes took place. The housing area was expanded while the hotels were redeveloped into two-storey buildings. The sports facilities were demolished and replaced by a restaurant. Furthermore, the coffee shop was moved closer to the center to make way for a new road running parallel to the main road. On the east side, the farmland was converted into recreational facilities for golf and tennis, while the public park was removed and replaced by holiday homes and a car park. In the south-west, there used to be a fish market but it was transformed into an apartment complex which was accompanied by yachts replacing fishing boats catering for leisure activities.
