The given bar chart compares the percentages of the population in the world and the dispensation of wealth by region in 8 different areas. Overall, it is evident that the percentage of the global population in North America and the distribution of wealth in China were the highest, whereas those in India, Africa-the first one, and Rich Asia-Pacific were the lowest. Meanwhile, most of the data on the global population are higher than the figure for distribution of property. In terms of population distribution, China had the largest proportion, representing approximately 24%, followed by Other Asia Pacific and India, both at around 16%. The percentage of Europe accounted for a significant share, at about 15%. By comparison, the figures for North America and Rich Asia-Pacific had much smaller populations, at roughly 6% and 5% respectively. Meanwhile, the data on Africa and Latin America & Caribbean represented around 10% and 7% of the world population. Regarding global wealth, North America held the highest proportion, at approximately 34%, despite having only 6% of the population. Europe ranked second, with around 30% of global wealth. In contrast, China, India and Africa possessed very limited shares of wealth, at about 3%, 1% and 1% respectively. Although Rich Asia-Pacific had only 5% of the world’s population, it accounted for nearly a quarter of global wealth, whereas Latin America & Caribbean owned only about 4%.
