Introduction

Projectors tend to arrange shops, schools, offices and homes in specific areas and separate them from each other in numerous nations around the world. This essay will discuss both the positive and negative aspects of this trend.

Body

On the one hand, urban planning in the capital city brings many benefits to both the citizens and government. One of the primary advantages for this trend is that organisational urban planning is better. This means that grouping similar buildings together makes the government easier to manage infrastructure. For example, when the authorities have a planning policy, the planning of roads, electricity, and public utilities can be carried out more efficiently. In addition, homes are separated from offices and factories lead to less disturbance. As a result, the residential area will be quieter, with less noise coming from factories and markets, this will help minimize the impact on the sleep of the elderly and young people, who have difficulty falling asleep. On the other hand, there are also many significant disadvantages. First of all, traveling to different areas takes a lot of time. This is because individuals who live far away from their workplace need to drive everyday, which can lead to traffic congestion and wasted time. For instance, many office workers may need to drive over 20 kilometres from suburban residential areas to business districts every morning, resulting in long traffic jams during rush hours. Additionally, long-distance travel also causes significant air pollution. When essential facilities are located far apart, residents are more likely to rely on private vehicles instead of walking or using bicycles.

Conclusion

In conclusion, separating areas into regions has many advantages such as better urban organisation and less disturbance, whereas this trend also takes a long time to travel and causes air pollution. In my opinion, I believe these benefits are outweighed by the inconvenience and environmental costs caused by long daily commutes.
