The graphs illustrated the average costs of houses in England and London, while also comparing the average house prices between different areas in England. Overall, average house prices increase in both England and London, the cost of houses in London remaining higher more than England house prices. In addition, London was recorded the highest house prices, whereas North East shown the least expensive region. Regarding the average house prices in England and London, in 1995, the figure for property prices in England stood at 200.000 euro, which is 70.000 higher than the cost of houses in London. Thereafter, house prices in London increased to 420.000, double the figure for housing prices in England. Both England anh London experienced an increase substantially over the period. In term of property prices in other regions of England, the house prices in London - centrally located reached a peak, with 400.000 euro. This was followed by South East, South West, North West with the figure around 320.000, 270.000 and 200.000 euro respectively. Finally, the cost of houses in North East and Midlands ranged from 100.000 euro to 120.000 euro.
