＋Many people argue that fast fashion causes negative consequences on the environment by mass production. From my perspective I largely agree with this opinion, while this industry can contribute various profits, it can bring serious drawbacks to our environment.

On the one hand, the production of wide range fashion products can bring a large advantage to the economy. By releasing the amount of products, the fashion brands can offer a wide variety of products to meet different consumer preferences. This can make the fashion accessible to everyone, people in all classes can adapt to the latest fashion with affordable prices. fast-fashion not only satisfies different customers in preferences, they also bring huge profits and contribute to the national economy growth Clothing companies generate substantial tax revenue for the government. The competition of the local brands and the luxury brands can contribute to a developing fashion market, promote all brands and drive economic growth.On the other hand, the environment is being negatively influenced due to the fashion industry. The clothing industry produces more garments than the customer demand can absorb, resulting in an oversupply of clothing and significant environmental wastes. This textile dust often ends up in landfills or heating up. These fabrics take hundreds of years to decompose and produce carbon emission. Moreover the cloth factories rely heavily on fossil fuel to operate. The manufacturing process generates the amount of chemical waste, greenhouse emission which all cause detrimental effects on ecosystems. for example, some factories discharge untreated wastewater into the river, contaminate water sources and cause bad effects on people's health.＋

＋In conclusion, although the industry of fashion can drive economic development and provide consumers with more choices, I believe that the harmful effect of fashion on the environment is more dangerous and directly impacts our life.
