＋I partly agree that someone believe modern communication technology effect negative on social relationship.

For the people who has to move around for working, when they can not meet the orthers in directly way, online meeting is a best way to help them keep in touch with the social friends. If there are not any digital platform, they can not talk with anybody when they go to do work far away. For example, a president who has to go abroad for working just has a little break time and it is not enough to travel back home so we just can call video through messenger to meet his family online. At that moment, the digital platform is really convenient and crucial to keep the bond of relationship.

For the normal people who is not too busy, actually face-to-face meeting is better and more. Because when people face each other offline we can have a lot of directly activities like hugs or kisses. Besides, when we meet someone in reality, we can look at the real feelings of them and thanks to that the communication will be more effectively. For example when someone has conflict with the other, solving directly can have they look at the other’s feelings to choose the emotion for solving that problems. When we use technology a little, it can help us escape from a lot of problems.＋

In conclusion, there are both positive and negative effects on the relationships but it just depends on the case which we have.
