It is believed that fossil fuels such as coal or oil are the main sources of energy in many countries. Nevertheless, some countries are now promoting the use of renewable energy. From a personal perspective, I believe increasing the use of alternative energy is a positive development, as it is eco-friendly and sustainable in the long run.

Supporters may claim that many countries use fossil fuels such as gas, coal, and oil as the main source of energy, as alternative energy is relatively dependent on the weather. For instance, the performance of solar panels is affected by weather and solar illumination. As a result, this may lead to output fluctuations and inconvenience. However, many effective approaches can minimize these problems, such as examining climatic conditions or geographic features in some specific areas before starting to invest in green energy projects in those places. For instance, investors can establish/set up wind turbines in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces, where wind forces are reported to be the highest in Vietnam/are stable and strong. Such careful investigation/examination can help promote energy independence in the long run. From a personal point of view, increasing the use of alternative energy can have many positive benefits. One major benefits is that it is much more environmentally friendly than fossil fuels. Solar, wind, tidal and nuclear energy generate electricity without burning fossil fuels, so they produce less greenhouse gases. Consequently, they help alleviate climate change, air pollution, and improve both public health and the natural environment. In addition, renewable resourses come from nature and they never run out because they can constantly refill themselves. For instance, solar power comes from sun’s light, the sun will shine for billions of years and we can use it everyday without concerning its depletion. This contribute to the sustainability of energy development and the improvement of people’s life quality in the long run. It can not be denied that investing in alternative sources of energy requires large amount of money. However, this investment is worthy as it helps protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gases and mitigating climate change. Although the initial cost is high, the long-term benefits are much more essential. Therefore, governments should invest more in alternative energy for a clearer and more sustainable future.

In conclusion, increasing the use of alternative energy is a positive development. It not only helps protect the environment and improve public health but also reduces dependence on limited natural resources. Therefore, this development can strengthen energy security and economic sustainability.
