The diagram illustrates an 11-stage process by which coffee cherries are transformed into instant coffee. Overall, it is a linear, fully mechanised process comprising 11 main stages. The procedure begins with harvesting coffee cherries and culminates in the distribution of the finished product; broadly, the coffee cherries are first harvested before being turned into powder and available for sale. Initially, having been harvested, coffee cherries are sorted and cleaned in a metal tray. Following the cleaning stage, the coffee beans are roasted and ground by a grinding machine with the aid of heat, after which they are brewed for a specific period of time. Next, the coffee liquid is filtered to remove the impurities, allowing excess water to leave. The coffee extract continues to be concentrated in an evaporation tank before undergoing drying and cooling. In the final stage, the final product is packed into jars and placed in boxes for distribution.
