Some people argue that fast population growth in big cities is beneficial for local residents, while others believe that it has negative impacts. ＋I would evaluate both views before proposing my perspective.

It is true that rapid population growth has several benefits for local people. It forces government to construct more public institutions such as medical centers , education systems, and public transports. This not only make the cities become more beautiful but also serve the massive demands of many people. For example, older people can receive better healthcare services or enjoy green park with fresh atmosphere, while younger citizens can go to works or schools more easily.On the other hand, the rapid population growth also leads to some negative impacts. One of the most serious consequence is the highly competitive workforce. In the modern world where machines and robots are developing rapidly with high technologies and AI, the workforce can become more harsh and these machines can replace human do many works. Therefore, many cities may witness an upward trend of unemployment rate, because only elite individuals can have a good job. local residents may have lower incomes which is not enough to earn their living because expenses in a big cities are really expensive. Besides, The fast population growth can affect to the infrastructures like roads, avenues, streets and electricity network because of the large number of people using it everyday. It can directly affect to local people because it damage to their regular basis and works. For example, the travel to workplaces or schools may be a real challenges or an online meeting can be call off which cause bad impacts to their work.＋

＋In conclusion, I argue that the rapid population growth can have many benefits for local people, but there are also many serious problems. If it is not controlled by state, I believe the drawbacks is outweigh the benefits
