I largely disagree as consuming a huge amount of funding is not only a waste of governments’ capital but also a danger in human lives.

On the one hand, governments might provide financial support and favourable policies for private aerospace companies to expand commercial opportunities and be able to develop advanced technology. And hence, they could offer commercial space tourism services and higher profit will be generated by affluent tourists from selling high-cost extraterrestrial space experience., contributing to economic growth.＋ However, space tourism requires substantial financial investment to ensure the most modern technology progress. Furthermore, only an extremely small proportion of wealthy people can benefit aerospace companies’ financial revenue, leading to uncertain commercial returns. As a result, governments should allocate money to terrestrial issues such as healthcare, education and infrastructure, a greater social advantage.

Once space equipment suddenly has technical failure and tourists get unintended risks affected by surrounding environments such as space-borne threats, microgravity as well as customers and astronauts’ physical health, resulting in muscle weakness, face puffiness, heart changes, etc. These dangers may highlight the unpredictable and perilous nature of space missions, raising ethical questions about the cost of human lives in exploring beyond Earth. Another concern is environmental degradation. More rockets launch frequently, which means the consumption of fuel will rise.
