The map illustrate how the Pebbleton’s coastal beach has developed 20 years ago and at present. Overall, the island has witnessed a considerable transformation, most notably with more accommodation, transportation facilities and additional recreational areas, all improving convenience and accessibility of residents’ Pebbleton, whereas the mainland has remained unchanged over the period. On the northern side of the map, the most notable change is the new construction of a Community Center has been built nearby the former houses after which these houses has been erected, adding four houses for a total of seven. To the west of the new center is the conversion of the old fort into a children’s ground. immediately to the south of the playground are the flats, which occupies the space where the film once stood, while the only lighthouse in the northwestern part of the map and playing field on the opposite the row of houses have remained unchanged IN the Pebbleton’s south is mostly undeveloped, with the most noticeable being addition of the footbridge, connecting the southern river bank to a school to provide access to educational systems. Another bridge linking to mainland is roadbridge, which remains its original construction throughout the period
