In contemporary society, the discourse of whether older people need to learn how to use computers has remained highly contentious. While acknowledging the importance of personal development are valuable in some contexts, I still believe that older people using computers can be more drawbacks in the long run.

On the one hand, proponents of approving older people to use technology may argue that it can have some positive impacts regarding improving overall well-being among the elderly and relieving pressure for families. To further explain, training has been associated with an increase in independence among older people when they no longer have to rely on daily tasks such as houseworks or personal actions. Moreover, using computers frequently can help elderly people avoid the risk of emotional issues and narrow the generation gap with young generations, which can successfully strengthen family relationships. American residents can be a prime example of that, where governments encourage older people to spend more time learning digital knowledge in their leisure time. These strategies can be an effective way for them to enhance their mental health through having access to a wide range of digital information on social media platforms. However, I am still concerned about some main drawbacks of using computers among elderly in the government budget and learning efficiency.

On the other hand, I still side with those who believe that training can bring some drawbacks to government budgets and cybersecurity. More specifically, teaching older requỉe long-term investments in different teaching such as skills, time, effort and people because the more important fields need to receive government funding to enhance the facilities and bring more advantages for the development of a country. Moreover, older people have little awareness of the threat of cybercrime so this type of age is one of the most vulnerable for cybercrime to attack and scam on the internet. Surveys conducted in many European countries have indicated that the use of computers among older people can increase financial burden for the government and also create more scam situations on the internet, which can be detrimental for the development of the economy in the long run. Because medicine, technology and education currently need a large amount of money in improving the quality.＋

Although training older people can help them increase independence and overall well-being, it still brings more drawbacks in the long run. From my perspectives, I think communities should create a community for older people to train and learn together
