This essay will analyze both stances before concluding that I lean towards a balance between competition and cooperation.

Similarly, a competitive school environment encourages students who aim to achieve top scores to invest a significant amount of time and effort into learning, resulting in a deeper understanding of a subject, which benefits their studies in the long term. That said, competition may do wonders for the company developments as well as personal growth. On the other hand, cooperation is often encouraged by some, arguing that this may result in a more supportive environment where individuals have a higher chance to grow instead of aggressively competing against each other. By collaborating with others, individuals may have various opportunities to gain diverse perspectives and learn from others’ mistakes and support each other. This can help them to draw experience, thereby improving their expertise without repeating the same mistake. Furthermore, cooperation is essential in tackling global problems, such as climate change or poverty. People who share the common goals can work together to come up with the ultimate solution to address these issues, which is more effective than working alone. Thus, this approach is undoubtedly advantageous for solving problems and helping each other.

Both of which are important to maintain high results and personal growth, thereby leaning toward a balanced approach may be ideal.
