In this day and age, the issue of climate change has attracted increasing attention from everyone. Some people argue that climate change could provide more business opportunities while the proponents of this believe that it could bring about an adverse effect on business. ＋This essay will discuss both views and i reckon that a one-size-fits-all approach may not work.

It is understandable why climate change is thought to be harmful for business. To be more specific, climate change results in increasing operating cost. In fact, many corporations have to spend a fortune for green materials and recruiting more labor with environmental knowledge. Moreover, climate change is responsible for leading to natural disasters or extreme weather events which disrupt supply chains. In other words, a flood or prolonged drought have influences on agricultural production or deliveries, which may have a financial loss.＋

On the other hand, it is undeniable that climate change could create various opportunities for business. One point worth noting is that demanding for environmentally friendly areas and service has become an issue of growing concern. In reality, more and more people are paying attention to electric vehicles, renewable energy and other sustainable things so that the growth of solar energy has created thousands of jobs to meet the growing demand. Particularly, a company which takes precautions to reduce climate change is liable for gaining a strong reputation for shifting their focus to green production. As environmental awareness grows, consumers are more willing to purchase products from companies which are committed to reduce environmental impact.＋

＋In conclusion, although it seems advisable that climate change could create more business opportunities but I believe that i could have several downsides such as cost-consuming and leading to natural disasters.
