In many countries, both governments and individuals spend large sums of money to celebrate national like new year or festivals. I partially disagree because these celebrations are important, but the authorities should not spend too much.

First, the national celebrations brings many benefits. Celebrations help people relax and enjoy time with their families and friends. These events also help keep traditional culture alive. During the new year, many tourists enjoy celebrations and learn about the country's custom. In addition, tourists often visit during these festivals, so businesses can earn more money.However, I think there should be a limit to spend. The governments shouldn't spend too much money for big events because there are more important issues such as schools, heathcare or infrastructure,... Individuals shouldn't pay too much money, some people buy expensive things to celebrate, and this can cause financial problems. They need to manage their money carefully.

In conclusion, I do not consider spending on national celebrations to be excessive. When managed strictly, its preserve cultural, and economic development. So, the governments and individuals need to allocate money wisely and avoid unecessary costs.
