For some people, the internet is more important than other inventions in human history such as the wheel. Personally, I still disagree with this notion for several reasons.

On the one hand, the internet significantly improves the quality of life of people. Firstly, it allows people to easily access a vast amount of information or knowledge via a lot of applications such as Google or Artificial Intelligence. As a result, in the study field, with the emergency of the internet, it can enhance the academic performances of students because they can learn through online resources to improve their knowledge, or in the work fields with the support of AI, it reduces substantially labor manual and save time when meetings because they can meet online by some apps like zoom and google meet. Furthermore, the internet helps connect people worldwide, helps countries to expand their business market and allows people to experience diverse cultures. However, for me, although the internet provides many benefits to human life, its invention is not the most important invention.

From my perspective, the most important invention is electricity for several reasons. The notable reason is it modernized people's lives with many inventions such as the bulb invented by Thomas Edision or a lot of fundamental foundation of people’s development with electric cars and many weapons that industrialized human civilization. From that, people have a better life; we can preserve food in refrigerators, or with the application of electricity, we can develop healthcare and operate transportation. The fact that people need electricity to use the Internet.＋

In conclusion, although the internet offers many benefits that may reshape human development, its importance is not paramount, as inventions in electricity may overshadow it.
