Introduction
Body
Admittedly, giving children more freedom can bring some risks. When children lack supervision, they can be easily influenced by bad peers, especially during their teens, when they are stressed by their friends. Children can make friends with bad guys. Consequently, they will have more bad behaviour like smoking, drinking alcohol or skipping classes. The main reason is that during adolescence, they want to be cool and accepted by others. They are ready to do something that can demonstrate their resilience even though they are aware of the negative consequences. Working independently can expose children to safety risks when they are still immature. For example, travelling alone can cause accidents, and talking to strangers online brings risks because children lack life experience to understand dangerous situations. By contrast, older people can identify potential hazards through experience built up over the years. Younger generations do not have this experience, so they become more vulnerable to harm.
On the other hand, I believe giving children more independence has significant benefits. When children have more unstructured time, they are encouraged to be creative and explore their own interests. For example, instead of being forced to learn or go to extra classes, they can draw pictures or write stories, play musical instruments or create games without depression. Children are given the freedom to do things they like. As a result, children can discover their passions and personal talent from an early age. Many celebrities discovered their talent in their childhood, such as Picasso could draw at 7 years old and Mozart could play music at 5 years old. If children do not have free time to try, they will not understand themselves. Suitable freedom helps children develop the ability to make their own decisions - an essential skill. They decide what to wear, eat and play for themselves through their own decisions and considerations. This is the most important skill because in the future they will make more major choices like career, marriage and lifestyle. From that, they become more responsible when doing something and receiving their own knowledge and lessons.
Conclusion
+In summary, although giving children more independence can have some risks, I believe its advantages can influence their development significantly.
