Some peopl think that countries should produce the food that their population eats, and import as little as possible. People are of different opinions about the main type of food in a country that should be produced in that.

Body

Food self-sufficiency help countries improve agricultural productivities, ensure food safety for residents, especially farmers. This increases strictly food security because the main material is clearly sources which are carefully checked. Therefore, countries can reduce ricks when there are diseases outbreak lead to not be stable supply chains. For example, in the COVID-19 period, governments had to stop importing food, others in order to limit maximum harmful viruss which can spread across borders which is cause of freezing supply food chains and food shortages. Moreover, local farmers are supported stable incomes and agricultural productivities. Agricultural researches will develop when main supply is own countries. In addition, farmers have more farmland or cropland. For example, Da Lat, where is a cold fresh air, appears greenhouses to plant fresh fruits such as strawberries. These help fruits still not reduce quality of those.

While it may develop many countries, anycoutries can have quality of food self-sufficiency. For example, Singapore, where is lack of farmland, can not have land to plant crop. Leading to import from reliable supply food chains. This ensure Singapore having stable supply food chains that not need to explore agricultural land. Framers still focus on food which is their advantages and remain powerfully energy in order to develop countries and have reliable investments in other agricultural researches.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while food self-sufficiency can improve food security and benefit local farmers, it is not a realistic solution for every nation. Countries with limited agricultural resources should continue importing food to ensure a stable and reliable food supply
