The process diagram illustrates steps involving in producing five different tea types from tea leaves. Overall, the process has the identical initial three stages for all five types, before branching into different paths according to the type. In addition, the white tea undergoes the simplest process, while two types of black tea have the most extensive processing. At the first stage of the period, after all five tea types have grown, they are picked by farmers, before undergoing the withering process. During this stage, the leaves slowly become dry and limp. After this step, the process starts to diverge, depending on the type of tea being produced. As for white tea, this type goes through the simplest process, which is only dried in the oven to convert into the end product. Regarding green tea, the production of this type of tea has one more step, namely the steaming process. Thereafter, it is fed into the rolling phase, along with the oolong tea and the large leaf black tea, before the oolong tea is fermented slightly and the black tea is fully fermented . Then, all three tea types are put into the oven to be dried and made into the final product. Although the small leaf black tea differs in the intermediate stage, which is crushed after being withered, it follows the same full fermentation stage as the large leaf black tea by the penultimate stage. Finally, the small left black tea is dried in the oven, making it ready for the distribution and use.
