Some individuals argue that online resources are better than printed documents, while others believe that printed materials remain the best choice. In this essay, I will discuss both views and represent my personal opinion.

On the one hand, those who use online materials tend to have a very strong argument. Digital resources are fast, flexible, convenient and easy to access. Students can be easier to update by several useful learning websites or study apps which allow them to search for information, watch video explanations, take online quiz, etc within minutes. This is especially beneficial for students who cannot afford many textbooks. Not only that, by learning from online documents, learners may also study at their own pace. When a student does not understand a part of lecture, they could pause and replay the video lesson until having possibility to tackle the questions. In that sense, online materials not only provide knowledge but also allow students' learning process more personal and accessible.

On the other hand, printed materials also come with numerous significant advantages. Some students are likely to prefer printed resources since they want to avoid excessive exposure to digital screen. This can protect them from having substantial health issues such as eye strain, myopia and other eye problems. Especially, students will not be interrupted by many unimportant pop-ups, notifications or other websites, which cause distraction during study sessions. It is specially effective for students who constantly lack of concentration while learning by themself. Reading a textbook or printed papers takes (requires) a long time and full attention, hence it is the best choice for students to study for the exam preparation. As a result, students may revise knowledge regularly, remember lesson more memorable and gain a deeper understanding of the subjects.

In conclusion, though online materials provide quick access, considerable information and flexibility, I believe that printed materials are still better as the core of students' learning. The best approach is not to choose one and reject the other, but to use digital resources for convenience, proactiveness and accessible, and printed materials for deep understanding and concentration.
