Additionally, the figure for the USA emerged as the leading position throughout. Regarding the increasing nations, the number of immigrants to Australia accounted for the lowest at only 100 thousands initially and remained stable in the following two years. Next, it declined mildly to less than 100 thousands in 1994, which was followed by a mild rise in the next years, before ending at nearly 200 thousands by 2001, remaining the least popular nations.
