The line graph illustrates the changes in the number of people who migrated to three different nations, namely the USA, Australia and Canada over a ten-year period between 1991 and 2001. Overall, it is clear that the number of migrants to Canada and Australia grew over the period, while that of the USA witnessed a reverse trend. Additionally, the figure for the USA emerged as the leading position throughout. Regarding the increasing nations, the number of immigrants to Australia accounted for the lowest at only 100 thousands initially and remained stable in the following two years. Next, it declined mildly to less than 100 thousands in 1994, which was followed by a mild rise in the next years, before ending at nearly 200 thousands by 2001, remaining the least popular nations. Meanwhile, that of Canada occupied precisely 200 thousands at first, after which it grew marginally over the years. Subsequently, this figure stayed constant at more than 200 thousands from 1995 to 1999, prior to a sharp growth to slightly above 400 thousands by the end of the period. Concerning the remaining category, the number of individuals who immigrated to the USA stood at the highest at approximately at 1400 thousands at the beginning, and then reached a peak of exactly 1800 thousands by 1992. Despite a consistent volatility over the years, this figure finished at about 800 thousands in the final year, maintaining the most popular nations.
