While I acknowledge the reason behind this thinking, I believe that using local resources is far more beneficial for environmental protection.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why transporting resources from other places is a more effective way. The key rationale is that it enables these places to concentrate on their strengths in that particular area, while importing the remainder from places with better conditions, as this offers cost savings and economic efficiency. This is particularly evident in Ho Chi Minh City, where the city has focused on developing its economic infrastructure and promoting urbanization. As a result, this area has become a top economic hub in Vietnam, offering a high quality of life. Another reason is that it ensures stable supplies when these places face natural disasters or resource scarcity.＋ Nevertheless, transportation-related risks, such as traffic jams and adverse weather, can hinder logistics.＋

On the other hand, I am convinced that using local materials is far more significant. The use of these resources is environmentally friendly because importing materials from other places in large quantities can increase carbon emissions from vehicles such as trucks, trains, and planes.＋ This over-reliance on other places can become problematic, as if importing places face drought or flood, they will not have enough resources to contribute to these places where needed. Therefore, each area should prepare for possible solutions, which are preventive measures for when such situations occur, allowing for a more balanced combination of imports and local production.＋

In conclusion, although importing resources from other places offers concentration on strengths in their fields, I believe utilizing local materials helps reduce emissions and balance resources when many risk cases are happening.
