In recent years, humans have witnessed several advancements in transportation, from several technical improvements to the development of infrastructure. However, most of them have appeared in urban areas, while the transportation in rural areas is old-fashioned and anachronistic, requiring us to identify several associated problems aimed at proposing some possible solutions. This essay will describe the consequences of this phenomenon before suggesting some plausible measures.

Admittedly, this phenomenon is likely to trigger numerous worrying challenges, including overpopulation in urban areas, especially in metropolises. Indeed, in big cities, the transportation systems have been advanced to facilitate the development of services, such as healthcare, enhancing citizens’ quality of life. Conversely, in rural areas, people have been experiencing impoverished traffic infrastructure, making essential services more inaccessible. Thus, this opposition leads to the preference for living in modern cities; thereby, exacerbating the overpopulation there.＋ Additionally, environmental pollution is also one of the most concerning consequences. Although there are numerous advancements in technology, traditional vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, in recent years, have been occupying much of the road space, contributing to large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions. As a result, making greater financial investments in transportation in urban areas rather than rural ones is likely to increase the traffic volume, resulting in air pollution. Besides, high concentrations of vehicles also contribute to uncomfortable noises and hence noise pollution.＋However, there are several plausible solutions that could address these issues. The reasonable financial allocation to transport, of course, is one of the most effective approaches to solve the original problem. Financial investments should be distributed to both rural and urban areas, regarding their own conditions, aimed at not only guaranteeing the effectiveness but also avoiding unnecessary countereffects. Encouraging people to live in low-populated areas through financial incentives could mitigate the high population in such metropolises; thus, reducing the high volume of vehicles circulating on roads.＋ Enhancing the infrastructure of public transit could also make moving by such buses more convenient and cost-effective, motivating people to use public vehicles and hence alleviating environmental pollution. In addition, governments should implement remedial measures to help victims of these consequences, therefore restoring their own quality of life.＋
