Perspectively, I largely agree with this opinion because they make more efficient use of land and can improve residents' quality of life if they are planned properly.

The first reason is that building tall apartment blocks helps cities use land more efficiently. In large cities, urban land is scarce and very expensive, while the population is increasing every year. Instead of building houses over a large area, cities can build upwards instead of outwards. As a result, one high-rise building can provide homes for hundreds of families on a small piece of land. This is an effective way to deal with housing shortages and reduce urban sprawl. Therefore, constructing apartment buildings is a practical solution for cities with limited space.

Another reason is that modern apartment complexes can improve people's quality of life. Many of them include useful facilities such as parking areas, parks, supermarkets, gyms, and security services. Because of these facilities, residents can enjoy a more convenient and comfortable lifestyle. In addition, when people live close together, it is easier for the government to develop infrastructure and public transport. It is true that high-rise buildings may put pressure on public services or cause traffic problems if too many people live in one area. However, these problems can be solved through effective urban planning, which also supports sustainable urban development.

In conclusion, I generally agree that building tall apartment blocks is the most effective way to provide enough homes in large cities because it saves land and offers many practical benefits for urban residents.
