In every family, parents always play an important role in educating and building children's character. That directly affects the success and future of their children later. For this reason, I agree that parents are the best teachers because parents not only shape a child's moral values but also provide a lifelong spiritual support.

Parents are always the people who teach their children about morality and personality. Children will learn to talk, share and take responsibility from their parents' behaviors at home. For example, if parents always show respect and honesty to everybody, their children will naturally copy these good qualities. According to the famous research of psychologist Albert Bandura, he proved that children are natural observers. They do not learn much from empty words, but learn how to observe and imitate the behavior of surrounding models. So, the better the parents are, the more comprehensively the children develop.

However, most parents can only teach their children about life experiences and moral values, but cannot teach them academically as comprehensively as teachers. Because teachers are the people who have pedagogical skills, good communication of information and they can help students understand the lessons better than parents do. Normally, parents can help children handle basic assignments, but most of them cannot handle difficult forms of lessons because they forgot all the old knowledge.＋ Therefore, children's academic education should be entrusted to schools to ensure the best results.

Parents are the best at teaching life skills and morality, teachers play a crucial role in delivering academic knowledge. So, a combination of both parental guidance and formal education is essential for children's development.
