The bar chart compares the unit sales of tickets between two age cohorts, specifically aged 10-19 and 20-29, at the August Cinema in 2020. Overall, members aged 10-19 attracted the highest number of animation tickets, whilst comedy tickets were bought by adults aged 20-29. Additionally, the number of tickets were sold to the younger groups in almost all genres, except for romance and comedy, which particularly popular in group aged 20-29. Regarding the group aged 10-19, the most popular genres of tickets were animation and science fiction, each of which accounted for around 130,000 tickets, with around 50,000 higher than that of action. Meanwhile, the least number tickets sold was romance, with at under 20,000 tickets, 10,000 lower than that of comedy. As for cohort aged 20-29, the most prevalent genres was comedy, with nearly 160,000 tickets, which was the highest figure of the graph. There was recorded a slight decrease in the number of tickets was sold from romance, science fiction and action, with at nearly 120,000, 100,000 and 90,000 tickets, respectively. Meanwhile, the modest number of tickets was represented at animation with only 50,000 tickets.
