The bar chart illustrates the percentage of school children learning to play four musical instruments, namely piano, guitar, drums and violin from 2005 to 2015. Overall, piano and guitar became increasingly popular over the period, while the figures for drums declined slightly and violin declined slightly. In addition, guitar was the most popular instrument by 2015. In 2005, around 11% of children learned piano, which was slightly higher than the proportion of guitar at about 10%. Meanwhile, arounf 10% of students played violin and only 5% learned drums. By 2010, the percentages of youths learn piano and guitar had risen considerably to around 20% . In contrast, the proportion for drums stayed unchanged at about 5%, while violin had a small decrease to roughly 8%. In 2015, guitar became the hightest musical instruments have been played which reaching nearly 40% and piano rise around 38%. On the other hand, drums increased slightly to nearly 8%, whereas violin fell hardly about 5%, making it the least popular instrument in the same year.
