There is a perspective that the usefulness of instructing knowledge to students from the teacher is not more available due to the wide range of information, lecturers will not able to handle with this such improvement and soon, they will be eliminated from the modern educational system. Although this school of thought contains merit, I think we need to gain more insights into the situation and then give the last conclusion.

On the one hand, we have to agree that with such a wide range of information nowadays and it still not ceases to develop, human can not absorb all those things. In order to that problems, there are various ways to replace human’s role in teaching by utilizing the advancement of technologies. For examples, AI is being used more popularly as a tools for not being only a consultant to solve many problems, but also an assistant for providing students with many related information and knowledge, which is very effective in learning and teaching. Moreover, some educational robots are being applied more in teaching toddlers how to pronounce words, alphabets and even how to do some mathematical solving. With this dominance of technologies, teachers will soon be seen as useless not necessary for educational system.On the other hand, it is obviously seen that teachers continuously play a vital role in modern education. When technology becomes to dominate all range of teaching aspects, we can not argue that some subjects still require human-teaching activities, for instance, in life-skills teaching subjects or emotional management subject, real teachers and lectures are easier to understand and gain deep insights into the soul of the students than just some robotic advices and emotionless voice teaching from such those artificial technologies. As the result, students will have more interests to involve in these subjects and finally the quality of teaching and understanding in the lesson is also increased, students will also have learned how to apply these pragmatic information into reality.

In conclusion, I believe that the role of teachers in modern educational system is still required. But, the position of technology and other methods need to be investigated more to apply effectively into modern education in order to make teaching becomes easier and support teachers in many situations.
