The pie graph compares the favourite takeaways of people in the Britant and the bar graph illustrates the quantity of Indian restaurants in the UK from 1960 to 2015. Overall, it is clear that the chinese people had the highest proportion of takeaways in the UK, whereas Mexican, Japanese and Greek takeaways showed the lowest figures. Additionally, the number of Indian restaurants in the UK experienced a sharply rise throughout the period. In terms of the pie chart, the percentage of takeaways made by Chinese and Indian residents were highest, at 34% and 26%, respectively. Also, the figures for Bristish and the 'never order' category was lower than for two previous countries. By stark contrast, the remaining countries presented the minority of the proportion, the figures of 4% for 'other or don't know' category, and The percentage of people choosing Thai takeaway accounted for a small figure. Additionally, the percentage of UK resident ordering Mexican, Japanese and Greek takeaways had the lowest figure, at 1% each. Turning to Indian restautants in the UK, the number of those stood at around 400 restaurants. It then experienced a significantly increase from about 1000 to nearly 9000 restaurant between 1970 and 2009. After that, it declined slightly to approximately 8500 restaurants before rebounding to 9000 restaurants at the end of period
