The diagram illustrates the process of producing furniture using chipboard made from wood through two main stages. Overall, the procedure comprises nine steps, beginning with cutting trees and culminating in the production of furniture. Throughout the process, glue and wax are combined with thermal treatment to manufacture chipboard furniture. Regarding the preparation stage, trees are cut down in order to obtain logs. These logs are then trimmed and passed through a shredding machine, by which wood chips are collected and transferred to a steam chamber for drying. Within the chamber, hot air is released and after 24 hours, the wood chips are dried and stored in a large bucket for 1-2 weeks. As for the production stage, the wood chips are blended with a mixture of glue and wax before being moulded into shape. After that, the resulting product is pressed into the final shape and formed into chipboard. Subsequently, the finished chipboard is used to make furniture.
