People have different opinions about whether criminals are created by the circumstances such as poverty and other social issues or their badly personality. While I accept that the poor economic background and problems of society affected mostly crime, I believe that personal character remains a major reason.

Those who argue that the circumstances are significantly contributed to crime in this day. This is understandable because financial conditions play a key role for a family to pay the basical fee including housing , buying foods and raising children. For example, the homeless people who don’t have money to buy anything , even foods , so they find ways to theft and robbery from other people, adapting to their needs. As a result, the poor ecomomic background and society’s problems have a considerable effect in leading to crime. However, I am more persuaded by the view that bad people’ nature cause the criminal activities. The human greed is considered as a bad personality of each individual, which lead to the desire to become more fulfilled by the law- breaking way. For instance, a worker who has a stable salary enough to support the family still thefts materials in warehouse of the company to sell outside. Therefore, the character of individuals is remain the top reason for the criminal behaviour.

In conclusion, although most law- breaking activities is the result of the economic background and social matters, I believe that the nature of people is the priority cause that is needed to concern about.
