Essay

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of tertiary education qualifications held by male and female within five different countries around the year 2001. Through out five countries, on average, males stood out with the highest percentage of Bachelor’s degree holders in countries like Japan, Switzerland and Britain. However within five of those countries, Switzerland and Germany had the highest rate of university degree holders with a total of eighty percent. With the highest performance belongs Switzerland and Germany, the country with the lowest rate of degree holders belongs to Japan with only fifty-five percent with male being thirty percent and female is twenty-five, right above is Britain with sixty-five percent with male being thirty-five percent and female is thirty. Meanwhile the United States remained constant in the middle with the total of seventy-five percent with male being thirty-five percent and female being forty. In general, despite females not actually worse than males in the education category but men have the upper hand in the year of 2001.
