＋it is often argued that fashion-industry has negative impacts on the environment because new products are released constantly. Although this view has certain merits, i completely agree that fast fashion has harmful implications for the environment

Admittedly, one of the primary reasons why i strongly agree with this view is that enormous quantity of clothes waste will end up landfills. This is because people is likely to keep up with high-fashion trends and make impulsive purchase for new clothes, thereby they discard their old clothes umanageably. As a result, mountains of old clothes will be transferred to suburban area and got together at one place, becoming a vas quantity of landfills formed by clothes waste and textile. A clear example can be seen that is the trend of baggy jeans, celebrities often wear baggy jeans with variety types, creating a worldwide craze with high-fashion baggy jeans so that the young people is influenced profoundly and has tendency to catch up with trend, resulting in the number of old-fashion pants is pushed aside by baggy jeans. Therefore it is evident that fast fashion is harmful for the environment

Another compelling reason is that releasing new products constantly consumes large amount of fossil fuel. This is primarily because factories rely heavely on fossil fuel to operate their business and finished products are shipped across the continents ro reach customers worldwide, resulting the amount of carbon footprint is released every single day. Consequently, factories contribute to the amount of greenhouse gas emission, accelerating global warming and worsening air quality＋

＋in conclusion, although this view has certain merits, i remain convinced that fashion industry influence adversely on the environment because it increases carboon footprint and forms a mass quantity of clothes waste
