Of late, a school of thought holds that high school students should criticize their teachers so as to enhance the quality of education, while another adheres to the belief that this will undermine classroom discipline. From a personal perspective, I am convinced that both views are valid to a certain extent, with the rationale being as follows.

On the one hand, some people may argue that high school pupils are encouraged to evaluate their instructors with a view to enhance the teaching condition for one main reason. To be more specific, should these students have their right to provide feedback to teachers, they can develop their critical thinking, which is a vital skill in the future. This is because oftentimes, when the educators make a mistake, learners can notice it and say their thought. That action can help them pay more attention to the lesson and take it into consideration. America can be sited as a prime example, as this nation want students to be more proactive and creative. This has helped improve the nation's significant success in every fields.

On the other hand, I opine that a class should have a righteous principle between pupils and teachers itself. To begin with, the biggest concern is that this can forge the lack of discipline without strict boundaries. In addition, criticism can easily slide into open disrespect to the instructors. Because teenagers lack the maturity to keep their remarks constructive, those feedbacks aiming to improve the teaching may unintentinally undermine teachers' authority and make classroom management become much more difficult. Besides, exposing continually to these criticisms can also demotivate teachers and erode their morale. For instance, in Korea, teachers who do not have the respect from their students often face the excessive bullying, which leads to unfortunate actions like suicide.＋

In conclusion, the panoramic view suggests that there is some validity to both viewpoints for the above-mentioned reasons.
