The given table illustrates the amount of money donated to developing countries by the USA, EU countries and other nations in a five-year period. Overall, it is clear that the total amount of donated money increased steadily throughout the years. Obviously, USA remained the largest donor in the given years. Donated money from EU countries also expericenced an upward trend, whereas those from other countries fluctuated throughout the period. USA was the dominant donor in five consecutive years, started with $9.8 million in 2006, increased steadily to $17 million in 2008, slightly deccreased to $16.7 million in 2009 before reaching its peak at $20.3 million in 2010. In addition, EU countries experienced the same pattern, started with $3.1 milion in 2006, climbed to $3.9 milion in 2008 and ended the period at $4.1 milion dollars. Regarding other countries, although accounted for the lowest amount of donated money, they experienced a sustainable growth throughout the years. Started with $2.8 milion in 2006, then increased to $3.5 milion in 2008, dipped slightly to $3.2 milion in 2009 before ended the period at $3.7 milion in 2010.
